DAY 1
DATE:21/10/2025
THEME: SAMARASA
Day 1
The first day of the Lokahi Community Living Camp began today (21/10/25) with registration at 8.30 a.m. At 9.30 a.m., the college Principal, Mr. Riju John, hoisted the flag. The inaugural ceremony of the camp commenced at 10.00 a.m. Mrs. Smita delivered the welcome address, and the college Principal, Mr. Riju John, presided over the meeting. The five-day camp was officially inaugurated by the renowned poet and writer Kureepuzha Sreekumar.
The college Manager, Very Rev. Zacharias Ramban, addressed the gathering. Greetings and felicitations were offered by the College Administrator Fr. Simon Lukose, Ward Councillor Mrs. Jaicy John, Rev. Fr. Thomson Grace, Staff Secretary Mrs. Sheeja Chacko, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Biju G. Student Coordinator Jisa C. S. delivered the vote of thanks.
After the tea break, the theme session began at 11.30 a.m. Ms. Roshma Papachan welcomed the gathering. Dr. Noufal N, Assistant Professor at Sree Narayana Guru Open University, led the session on the theme of Unity. He explained that every human being on this earth is unique, and true humanity shines through only when we understand and accept these differences—this acceptance is what leads to real unity. Mrs. Aadhila delivered the vote of thanks.
At 12.45 p.m., various groups staged their cultural performances, and the programme concluded at 1.30 p.m., followed by lunch distribution.
In the afternoon session, Mr. Ranjith T, HR Trainer at the Alappuzha Collectorate, conducted a motivational class for the teacher trainees on the topic "A Direction for Dreams", along with an engaging game session. Ms. Devi, Fr. Terry Thankachan, and Mrs. Neethu evaluated the class. Ms. Athira proposed the vote of thanks, and the session concluded at 3.30 p.m.
After the tea break, a special session titled “Laughter and Reflection” was held by mimicry artist and Flowers TV Comedy Utsavam fame Mr. Vineeth Elamadu. He shared several valuable life lessons, stating that what matters is not how long one lives, but how meaningfully one leaves a mark in the world through their presence. He conducted fun games, interactive conversations, and entertained the audience with brilliant impressions of eminent personalities like Oommen Chandy, Santhosh George Kulangara, Basil Joseph, and Sanju Samson. Ms. Muhsina delivered the vote of thanks, and the session concluded at 5.00 p.m
DAY 2
DATE: 22/10/2025
THEME: SAMANWAYAM
Theme: Harmony in Diversity
The second day of the Lokahi Community Living Camp (22/10/25) began at 9.00 a.m. with the morning assembly. Anu G. Saji served as the anchor, and the prayer song was rendered by Megha, Vaishnavi, and Rajalakshmi. The thought for the day was presented by Varsha, the news reading was done by Sheeba and Alphiya, and Shamna introduced the day’s theme—“Harmony in Diversity.”
Around 10.00 a.m., the Swaralaya session commenced. The gathering was enriched by a musical presentation on the topic “The Relevance and Importance of Musical Intelligence in Teacher Education.” The session was led by former SCERT (Kerala) Research Officer Dr. Manakkala Gopalakrishnan, violinist Mavelikkara Vijayakrishnan, and mridangam artist Srirangam Krishnakumar. Felicitations were offered by Shaheena, Anagha, and Akshara, and Rose delivered the formal vote of thanks.
After the mid-morning refreshment, at 11.45 a.m., the Agniratham programme began. Mr. Aneesh from the Kottarakkara Fire and Rescue Station conducted a session on the topic “Towards the Path of Safety.” Jeeja proposed the vote of thanks.
After lunch, various groups staged their cultural programmes. At 2.45 p.m., Malayalam Manorama journalist Mr. Ayyappadas led an interactive session titled “Media Pulse.” The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Neethu S. Raj from the Malayalam Department. The session provided valuable insights into the field of media, greatly benefitting the teacher trainees. Sheba Susan Philip delivered the vote of thanks.
Later, at 5.30 p.m., the drama “ALPHII (12) MISSING” was performed by Rangaprabhat, Alanthara, Vennjaramoodu, as part of the Rangotsavam event. Shalini expressed gratitude for the performance.
The day concluded with a spectacular musical show by “Beats Audios” at 7.30 p.m.

DAY 3
DATE:23/10/2025
THEME: AARAVI
Day 3
The third day of the Lokahi Camp (23/10/25) began with the morning assembly at 9 AM. The assembly was hosted by Jesna and Vaishnavi. The prayer was led by Muhsina, Anushree, Riya, and Jincy. The thought for the day was presented by Amitha, and the news reading was done by Akhila and Jaimy.
The theme of the day was introduced by Mrs. Neethu. The special features and highlights of the day were explained by Arunima Rachel.
At 10 AM, the guest for the programme “Manomukham” was the famous mentalist and mind reader, Mr. Shivaprakash. At 12 PM, the Zumba dance programme “Dhamakka” was performed by Harry & Team from HLS Studio, Kollam. The energetic Zumba session was filled with excitement and enthusiasm.
At 2 PM, the team started the journey to Idukki Kuttikanam. By 6 PM, the group visited Panchalimedu. At 8.30 PM, the campfire was conducted. Accommodation was arranged at the Providence Convent and Ashram in Mankunnu, Peermade.
DAY 4
DATE:24/10/2025
THEME: SAPHARAM
Day 4
On the fourth day of the Lokahi Camp (24/10/25), the students’ excursion was filled with beauty, excitement, and joy. As part of the trip, the teacher-trainees visited scenic locations such as Pine Forest, Thankalpara, Tea Lake, and Parunthumpara. Students participated enthusiastically throughout the entire journey, enjoying every moment with laughter and energy.
The tour organizing committee managed the programme exceptionally well. This trip, which blended education and entertainment, became a memorable experience for everyone who participated. A total of 107 students and 5 teachers joined the tour. Special love and gratitude are extended to Rev. Fr. Sabu, who served as the coordinator of this tour
DAY 5
DATE:25/10/2025
THEME: THIRASHEELA
Day 5 – Valedictory Function
On the concluding day of the Lokahi Camp (25/10/25), the valedictory function began at 10 AM. The programme was hosted by Sheba Susan Philip and Nayana. The welcome address was delivered by the camp teacher coordinator, Ms. Sreelakshmi.
The function was presided over by the college principal, Mr. Riju John. The valedictory ceremony was inaugurated by the former Minister for Agriculture, Mr. Mullakkara Ratnakaran. Following this, the camp report was presented by Mr. Jeevan.
The ‘Best Camper’ award was given to Arunima (Natural Science) and Albin K. Alexander (Mathematics). The camp coordinators Ms. Jisa and Mr. Jeevan, Mr. Albin who suggested the name ‘LOKAHI’, and the leaders of various groups were also honoured during the function.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Fr. Sabu.
